Dana Point Cottage Makeover

We worked with the owner of a small 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the ocean (and the 405 FWY).

He wanted to keep his view but reduce the road noise in his little home.  He also wanted to expand it into a home large enough to retire into, giving him a primary bedroom suite with a portion of the view.  And, as an added challenge, he wanted one bedroom and a bathroom to remain in tact so that he could spend weekends at the property after his surfing sessions...during construction!

He choose 2 architectural styles that he thought would work well and we took it from there.

The Craftsman option was selected, but the project is currently on hold due to economic circumstances changing.  He loves the design and will only think of moving forward with SoCal h2H if/when he starts the project back up.
