Mesa del Mar Casita Addition

The design savvy client for this project approached SoCal house2Home for ideas to expand the number of bedrooms in their home so that they could expand their adorable family.

The options ranged from adding a second story at the most extreme end or simply converting existing space to a bedroom on the conservative side of the scale.  In the end, they fell in love with the idea of a seemingly separate "casita" as their primary bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet, connected to the rest of the home by a glazed corridor with a flat roof.

This project is currently on hold for family reasons, but we are looking forward to picking it up again soon!
